A group picture after our Big Band set for NYE
Happy New Year!
We had such a fun evening on New Year’s Eve. It was so great to see friends from Columbus, Springboro, and northern Ohio, as well as make some new friends. There was a couple that was visiting their daughter and looking for a NYE party. Let’s just say that they “Got Klabered”!
I couldn’t think of a better way to bring in the new year than to spend it with my band of brothers and all of you. 2025 marks year 95 for the Klaberheads and I would love to celebrate this milestone with special things throughout the year. Keep an eye out for throwback Thursday on our Instagram and Facebook. If you have any suggestions reach out to me. I’d love to hear them.
We celebrated the first hour of January with dancing at the New Year’s Eve party, and for February I’d like to highlight the couples whose wedding receptions we have played. If we played your parents, grandparents, family members, friends, or YOUR reception, I would love to know the date AND by way of a picture of the couple, picture of the band, or a brief memory you might want to share. I want to gather as many as I can. I even have a special gift for the longest married couple :) Thanks in advance!
On a side note, I started thinking about some of the most unusual occasions we’ve played. Here are a few that stick out in my mind: Oktoberfests in a jewelry store, a car auction, a few manufacturing facilities, and the full band playing the chicken dance at the funeral of a dear retired band member.
Go ahead and put Bockfest in Cincinnati on your calendar. We are SO EXCITED to be back at Rhinegeist Brewery March 8th from 8:30-11:30 pm.
We are also hard at work writing new originals and cooking up new and fun medleys. Some will make their debut at Bockfest.
Our calendar is filling up with our annual Oktoberfests as well as some new destinations. Stay tuned and watch our schedule unfold on our website and socials.
